FPASA ANNUAL FIRE-FIGHTING COMPETITION
The
FPASA is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our 11th Annual
Fire-fighting
Competition on
Thursday 20 May 2010.
This
year will include a separate category for a designated staff member
(Fire Marshal)
representing any company or department that does not have a fire
team. A Fire Marshal will
participate in each of three separate events that include:

A written assessment
-
An extinguisher drill
-
A hose reel drill
This
competition will run concurrently with the Fire Team competition
which, as usual, will
include
5 members competing in the large diameter hose drill and
extinguisher drills involving
the
Devil’s Cross and the 3-D fire.
The
Fire Team entry is for 5 team members and 2 company representatives
whilst the Fire
Marshal entry will be for 1 competitor.
The
entrance fee, which includes lunch, refreshments and complementary
gifts for participants,
company representatives and additional guests, will be:
Per
Fire Team Members: R4 000 (excluding VAT)
Non-Members: R5
000 (excluding VAT)
Per
Fire Marshal Members: R580 (excluding VAT)
Non-members: R720 (excluding
VAT)
Per
Additional Guest R250 (excluding VAT)
Fifteen (15) Fire Teams and thirty (30) Fire Marshals can be
accommodated and entries will be
accepted on a “first come, first served” basis. Rules, further
information and Fire Marshal
Information Packs will be sent on receipt of the completed Entry
Form. Please complete the
attached form and return it to our offices by 31 March 2010.
NB:
Your entry will only be confirmed once the entry fee has been
received.
